Trump Administration Rescinds Student Visa Policy

U.S. District Judge Allison Burroughs recounted the Trump administration’s decision to rescind a directive that would have barred international students from the United States if their colleges had made the decision to have all classes online for the Fall 2020 semester. ICE will therefore revert to the March 13, 2020 guidance stating that international students may remain in the United States even if their college or university had transferred all in-person classes to online instruction during the pandemic.
